Got an out of the blue email from the friend of a client we did work for a few months ago. He had been super satisfied with the editing job I did for him and vowed to pass on my information. Getting a job “out of the blue” is sort of like the feeling of finding money on your doorstep. So much of freelancing is about finding work and proving yourself worthy of jobs, it’s a great feeling of satisfaction when works comes your way. Ended up getting in contact with two more potential clients by word of mouth this weekend. Two of whom are located in Australia – which makes me think if, I might upload a map of the world with countries highlighted of locations of clients I’ve done work for. Be cool for my ego and for potential customers to see.
